About us

Our mission is simple.

Deliver empowering, evidence-based, and collaborative healthcare that fosters foundational health and provides the support necessary to grow and thrive.

Nourished Roots Therapy Services is a co-owned private practice providing speech therapy and occupational therapy services with a specialized focus on pediatric feeding disorders, swallowing disorders, orofacial myofunctional disorders, and breastfeeding difficulties. The idea for this company originated from two therapists who were consistently identifying a gap in their local community regarding the awareness of these disorders and the need for easily accessible, patient-centered treatment. As providers of both feeding and traditional therapy services, the co-founders of Nourished Roots have first-hand experience working with families who struggle to find comprehensive therapy close to home.

Nourished Roots Therapy Services offers a comprehensive continuum of care regarding a variety of difficulties from birth through childhood and into adulthood. We believe that speech, motor, sensory, and feeding difficulties are rooted below the surface and require holistic assessment by more than one healthcare professional. Our roots strengthen the foundation that nurtures development and quality of life well into adulthood.

Our approach is person and family-centered at its core. We are dedicated to identifying the root cause of the difficulties experienced by our patients. We value interdisciplinary collaboration both in-house and with other healthcare professionals to offer well-rounded assessment and treatment options.

Our OT-SLP team values interdisciplinary collaboration both in-house and with other healthcare professionals to offer well-rounded assessment and treatment options. Our vision is to provide collaborative treatment to improve the nourishment of those who are unable to thrive due to a variety of medical conditions and skill deficits. We are dedicated to supporting individual needs and empowering families to achieve their goals.
After all, we cannot thrive without well-nourished roots.
